All episodes are generated via our own automation pipeline (ElevenLabs Turbo v2.5 Brian voice → Buzzsprout → Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, and a dozen other directories).

HomeNode Homelab Weekly (launching soon)

Every Tuesday. A 3-5 minute roundup of the week in homelab and self-hosting.

NAS reviews, Raspberry Pi builds, self-hosted app launches, networking gear, power and cooling, and 3D printing for homelab racks. For anyone who spends their weekends wiring up a server closet and wants a quick weekly briefing on what the community is up to.

How our podcasts are made

Every episode runs through the same pipeline:

  1. Pull the most recent post or weekly roundup from the source WordPress site via its REST API
  2. Narrate the post with the ElevenLabs Brian voice (a calm, British-accented voice chosen for listener retention)
  3. Upload the MP3 to the WordPress media library and to Buzzsprout
  4. Buzzsprout distributes to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Podcast Index, Podchaser, Player FM, Pocket Casts, and other directories
  5. Scheduled via Windows Task Scheduler — no servers, no cloud infrastructure

The total monthly cost for a daily weekday podcast is roughly $22 CAD (ElevenLabs Creator plan) plus zero for Buzzsprout’s 2-hour free tier.
